PRIVACY POLICY

OF ANNA KAMIŃSKA. TŁUMACZENIA OGÓLNE I PRAWNICZE

(hereinafter referred to as AK Translations)

§ 1

The purpose

The purpose of the Privacy Policy in AK Translations is to explain the principles of personal data processing and to present the basic rights related to their processing by AK Translations.

The processing of personal data by AK Translations is carried out in in accordance with the applicable provisions on protection of personal data, in particular in accordance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (hereinafter referred to as GDPR) and with the Act of 10 May 2018 on personal data protection.

Personal data of persons contacting AK Translations are processed exclusively in order to respond to requests or inquires related to cooperation with AK Translations and in order to present an offer of cooperation with AK Translations upon request, including the purpose of ongoing contacts regarding the matters connected to the performance of orders which were entrusted to AK Translations and in connection with which AK Translations was provided with the personal data.  

The legal grounds for processing data is the legitimate interest of AK Translations (Art. 6 subsec. 1 letter f GDPR) in the form of responding to inquiries, establishing relation with the person contacting AK Translations and presenting an offer of cooperation with AK Translations as well as cooperation with AK Translations upon request.

AK Translations processes personal data in particular for the purpose of:

- providing translation and interpreting services,

- cooperation with other entities regarding the matters of the Clients of AK Translations,

- cooperation with suppliers of goods and services,

- ensuring protection of information and communications technology (ICT) related to the website of AK Translations,

- fulfilment of the duties of AK Translations arising from the law.

The consent to the processing of the given personal data may be withdrawn at any time. The withdrawal of the consent will not affect the lawfulness of the processing which was performed before the consent was withdrawn.

§  3

The scope of personal data processing

AK Translations processes personal data in the following scope: name and surname, address, telephone number, e-mail address.

AK Translations does not process personal data in an automated manner, including data profiling.

§ 4

Rights of persons whose personal data are processed by AK Translations

 1. The processing of personal data by AK Translations is based on consent.

 2. The consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn at any time. The withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing which was performed based on the consent before it was withdrawn.

 3. Persons whose personal data are processed by AK Translations have the following rights:

- the right to information,

- the right to access to data,

- the right to rectify data,

- the right to erasure of data,

- the right to restrict processing of data,

- right to object to the processing of data.

Persons whose data are processed by AK Translations have the right to lodge a complaint against the processing of personal data with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office [Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych] if they believe that the processing of their personal data violates the applicable provisions on processing of personal data.

§ 5

Restriction on data transfer

AK Translations does not transfer, does not sell and does not lend the collected personal data to other persons or institutions, unless it does so with the express consent or upon request or it results directly from the fact of entrusting the case to AK Translations or at the request of authorised state bodies for the purpose of the proceedings conducted by those bodies.

AK Translations does not transfer personal data to the countries outside the European Economic Area or to international organisations, unless it is required in relation with the case entrusted to AK Translations by the Client.

Data retention period

AK Translations stores personal data, depending on the grounds and purpose of processing, for the time which is justified by execution of the order, until the expiry of all of the limitation periods related to the contract in connection with which the personal data are processed and until the expiry of all of the limitation periods of duties arising from the law, in particular the Polish civil code and relevant Acts of Polish law, as well as the European Union law, in particular the GDPR (the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC).

Cookies Policy

The website https://kpjk.waw.pl (hereinafter referred to as the Website) uses cookies. Using the Website is equivalent with the consent of the Website User to the use of cookies in accordance with the following Cookie Policy. If the User does not consent to the use and to the processing of cookies, they may either change the Internet browser settings or stop using the Website.

Cookies are information which are saved on the computer of the User (tablet, smartphone) and which are read by the Website each time during a connection. Usually, a cookie consists of the name of the website it comes from, an indication of the storage period and number.

The Website uses cookies to facilitate the use of the Website and to accelerate the use of the Website.

Cookies can be used to create statistics on how the Users use the Website.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

 1. AK Translations reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy at any time.

 2. By using the Website of AK Translations, the User accepts this Privacy Policy. If they do not accept this Privacy Policy, they should stop using the Website of AK Translations.

 3. Changes to the Privacy Policy enter into force upon their publication on the Website https://annakaminska-tlumaczenia.pl.

Data protection

The General Data Protection Regulation (hereafter referred to as: GDPR) has been in force in Poland since May 25, 2018.

Anna Kamińska. Tłumaczenia ogólne i prawnicze (hereinafter referred to as: AK Translations) is the Controller of Personal Data. AK Translations processes personal data for contact purposes in accordance with Art. 6 subpara. 1 letter f of GDPR and when it is necessary for execution of contract or performance of contract and to fulfil the obligations incumbent on the AK Translations in accordance with Art. 6 subpara. 1 letter b and c of the GDPR.
The person, whose data are processed by AK Translations has the right to object to the processing of data, request access to the data, request rectification of the data, request that the data be deleted, request that the processing of the data be restricted or that the data be transfered. The data are stored in relation to contractual relationships for the duration of the contract and after its termination for the period resulting from the provisions on archiving and the period of limitation. Each entitled person has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office [Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych].
